Asthma Society of Canada: New resources for managing asthma in fall

September 21, 2016

asthma-societyThe Asthma Society of Canada has released its guide for Preventing the September Asthma Peak, a campaign to educate kids, families and teachers about asthma care during September and throughout fall.

There is a significant peak in the number of children requiring hospital treatment as a result of asthma in September due to a number of factors. This helpful guide discusses the September peak and asthma care, with downloadable resources by school grade and more.

The Asthma Society also has an animated Fall Guide for asthma management for people of all ages, which you can view on its Four Seasons of Asthma site.

The Asthma Society of Canada provides programs and resources for the three million Canadians living with asthma, including Asthma Action Plans in English and French for work, home or school.

We are thankful to the Asthma Society for their advocacy and education work across Canada. To learn more about the Asthma Society of Canada, visit asthma.ca.
